What is this?
Hello, we are the WIMSE webring, full name being
‘What’s Inside My altoidS wallEt’ (Cheating makes a better acronym mkai). Altoids wallet (not associated with ALTOIDS®) is quite a fun
pocket-sized craft to express creativity, personality and identity! The members of our webring decorate a tin box with their own personal spin,
and their tin box is displayed with our widget, which is probably the thing that you clicked on to get here ;]
The webring was made using
onionring js and is operated by two peeps:

Requirements
1. Your site must not contain any form of bigotry (discrimination, hate speech, etc.) or non-satirical support for people who have actively promoted hate. Your site will still be removed from our ring even if you label hate under a different name.
2. Your site must be coded from scratch, so no code-free websites from services such as Carrd co, strawpage, google sites, readymag, squarespace, etc. or websites coded using AI.
3. Your website must have content in it, meaning it is not a blank page with only our widget and default texts. The content could be anything: text, images, videos, navigation, etc.!
4.NSFW content must not be displayed on the widget or on the landing page , which is often times the index.html page.
5. Your widget should be easy to find, such as in a dedicated corner called “webrings” or displayed directly on the homepage.
6. The widget should be displayed on your site before you apply so we can check more quickly.
7. The website you want to be linked to the images (if exists) should have content warnings where applicable. This link will only work if the widget is on your webpage; from our info page, people will be redirected to your landing site instead.
How to join:
1. Read our Rules and try not to make us add new rules :[
2. Grab a template and decorate:

- You can use any other pictures or artworks of your own, as long as it is still a tin box. Note that for our member page, all images will be automatically resized to 200px width and auto height for display.
- Your images should not have a background and must consist of two files: one for open lid and one for closed lid.
- Items inside the tin box does not have to abide by physics :]
3. Host your own images wherever, on your own neocities/nekoweb or on third-party services such as imgur, filegarden or catbox. Test the image links first on an html file to see if they work before sending them to us. The name of the images do not matter!
4. Put the following widget on your website first before applying.
You can change the css to the widget on your own site by changing the following css file and change the link on this part here.
5. Fill in
this form . We check the application submissions at least once per week, so please wait at least 7 days before submitting a different form or emailing us.

* Important note: The widget can only display one tin box but you can link the widget images to an html site of your own where you can tell people what is in the box and display more than one box!
The site can contain whatever content you want and could just be a shrine to your favorite things, but whichever that is please apply content warnings where necessary.
